Tramonti VR is an app developed by Eye-Tech in collaboration with the Municipality of Tramonti di Sopra (PN). The app allows users to take a virtual tour of the most significant places in this small village in Val Tramontina, which served as the backdrop for some of the most important battles of the Great War.
Using a Virtual Reality headset, the user will be immersed in a 360° scenario, within which they can select from various virtual stops, taking them back in time and allowing them to relive firsthand the major battles of that era.
Each stop is characterized by various multimedia content, from historical videos narrated by the expert Marco Pascoli, to galleries of vintage images from the most emblematic places of the Great War in Val Tramontina. The app also includes scenic effects that immerse the user in the past in a completely surreal setting.
The app is available to the public and can be experienced for free at the Municipality of Tramonti di Sopra (PN).
