This information is collected for the proper management of online ordering and for conducting anonymous statistical surveys, to determine which data/content is more or less useful/interesting for users and thus improve the effectiveness of the material available on the site and app.

Voluntarily provided data by the user

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of the user’s personal information (email address, phone number, etc.) indicated on this website, in the app, or in the online ordering web service, involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data entered in the message.

Except as specified for information collected automatically, the user is free to provide the personal data reported in the request forms or otherwise indicated in contacts to request the sending of informative material or other communications. COOKIE POLICY

With this document, in accordance with the provisions of articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, Eye-Tech srl as the Data Controller provides users of the website eye-tech.it and all associated subdomains with the following information regarding the cookies used. This policy is drawn up based on the indications contained in the General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor of May 8, 2014.

WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies are portions of information that the website inserts into the user’s browsing browser when a web page is viewed. They can involve the transmission of information between the website and the browser, and between the latter and other sites that operate on behalf of third parties or privately, in accordance with what is established in their respective Privacy Policy. This happens because elements such as images, maps, sounds, social buttons (“Like” on Facebook, etc.), specific links to web pages of other domains may be present on the visited website that reside on servers different from the one on which the requested page is located. Cookies can be used to gather information collected about the user’s profile.

COOKIE MANAGEMENT

In this regard, and for the purposes of this provision, two macro-categories are identified: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies.

Technical Cookies

Technical cookies are those used only for the purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (cf. art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).

They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas); analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the website itself; functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse based on a set of selected criteria (e.g., language, products selected for purchase) to improve the service provided to them.

For the installation of such cookies, the prior consent of users is not required, while the obligation to provide information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code remains, which the website manager, if using only such devices, can provide in the manner it deems most appropriate.

Profiling Cookies

Profiling cookies are aimed at creating profiles related to the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of web browsing. Due to the particular invasiveness that these devices can have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express their valid consent.

They are referred to in art. 122 of the Code, which provides that “the storage of information in the terminal device of a contractor or user or access to information already stored is allowed only on condition that the contractor or user has expressed his consent after being informed with the simplified methods referred to in Article 13, paragraph 3” (Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
