What is ET-NFC Tag Reader?
ET-NFC Tag Reader is a mobile app for smartphones and tablets running on Android, iOS, and Windows operating systems, allowing the reading and writing of NFC Tags or Badges.
How does NFC technology work?
NFC (Near-Field Communication) is a technology that provides secure, bidirectional, short-range wireless connectivity between two devices, aiming to enable the sending and receiving of information.
This type of communication can be established not only with regular smartphones or tablets but also with NFC tags (example of NFC tag), which are special and simple chips on which data and information can be written and interpreted by any device such as smartphones or tablets. Their uniqueness is that they do not require power sources (so they do not have a battery) and offer a memory space to write various types of information.
How does ET-NFC Tag Reader work?
Eye-Tech has developed ET-NFC Tag Reader, a customizable app for smartphones and tablets based on individual needs.
The app is capable of formatting, reading, and writing NFC tags of any type, from NFC Type 1 to Type 5 or, for example, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2 tags with standard protocols NFC-A ISO 14443-3A, NFC-V ISO 15693, NDEF, etc..
Thanks to the collaboration with RUGGTek, Eye-Tech can provide ET-NFC Tag Reader for ultra-resistant rugged industrial devices (tablets/handhelds/smartphones), which can be customized at the operating system level according to specific needs.
