In an economic context increasingly oriented towards innovation and digitalization, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region launches an interesting initiative aimed at stimulating the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the area. Through the Public Notice 2024, part of the Regional Program ERDF 2021-2027, a unique opportunity is offered to companies and self-employed professionals to access incentives dedicated to improving production processes, expanding productive capacity, updating organizational and business models, as well as extending product and service lines through advanced technological solutions.

FOCUS
Promotion of digitalization and technological innovation in SMEs
PURPOSE
To encourage small and medium-sized enterprises in their digital evolution through the integration of Hardware and Software solutions aimed at renewing and improving both the processes and the corporate organizational structure. Projects that, through technological evolution, aim for better efficiency and modernization in areas such as:
- Production processes of the beneficiary company;
- Productive capacity of the beneficiary company;
- Organizational and business models of the beneficiary company;
- Range of products and services offered by the beneficiary company.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Companies registered with the Business Registry and self-employed professionals classified as SMEs in the Friuli Venezia Giulia territory.
QUALIFYING EXPENSES
Costs directly related to the SME digitalization project, including:
- Purchase and installation of hardware, machinery, tools, and advanced technological devices;
- Purchase of software and usage licenses;
- Implementation of computer and management software systems, including those for mobile devices;
- Consultancy services for analysis, design, and development of computer management solutions;
- Specialized consultancy services related to the project, including initial support and coaching for the implementation of the management system.
Eligible expense limits per request:
- €12,500.00 for micro-enterprises;
- €18,750.00 for small enterprises;
- €25,000.00 for medium enterprises.
The maximum financial support available for each application is set at €250,000.00. An advance of up to 70% of the approved amount can be obtained. For details on types of aid and contribution level, please refer to the indicated link.
APPLICATION METHOD
Applications must be sent from 10:00 AM on MARCH 14, 2024, until 4:00 PM on APRIL 30, 2024, exclusively in digital form through the FVG Region portal. The request for the digitalization incentive must be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce competent for the territory where the project’s operational headquarters is located. Projects will be evaluated following specific criteria described in the notice, and funding will be allocated through a ranking procedure.
Each company is allowed to submit a single funding application for an individual project.
