What is Safe Distancing?<\/h2>\n

Safe Distancing<\/strong> is a software system that, using artificial intelligence algorithms<\/strong>, allows measuring the distance between two or more people<\/strong> captured by a video camera.<\/p>\n

The goal of this software is to monitor specific areas of interest<\/strong> (indoor or outdoor locations) and report any anomalies<\/strong> if the minimum safety distance between people<\/strong> is not respected.<\/p>\n

With Safe Distancing, it is possible to ensure people’s safety<\/strong> by avoiding potential risks of contagion<\/strong> from Covid-19<\/strong> (Coronavirus), the virus that has strongly affected us in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/h2>\n

Safe Distancing can process the video stream captured by a camera and activate real-time<\/strong> auditory<\/strong> or visual notifications<\/strong> if the interpersonal safety distance is not respected<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With Safe Distancing, you can, for example, monitor people in a waiting line<\/strong> (outside a store, in front of a food bank, in front of the coffee vending machine, etc.) or gatherings of multiple people<\/strong> in the same surveilled video area, receiving a notification when the minimum safety distance is not respected.<\/p>\n

Safe Distancing also allows saving an electronic log with all detected anomalies<\/strong>, accessible at any time via the cloud through any web browser<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Where can I use Safe Distancing?<\/h2>\n

Safe Distancing is suitable for monitoring both outdoor environments<\/strong>, such as squares<\/strong>, public gardens<\/strong>, beach resorts<\/strong>, and indoor environments<\/strong>, such as shopping centers<\/strong>, supermarkets<\/strong>, or industrial warehouses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
